Smart Home Planning
Ultra Smart Home provides control for all of your homes' electronics; from single room solutions to whole house control systems. Our design provides a central location for your audio/video equipment. The home automation equipment location is typically hidden out of sight, but accessible for everyday use. Imagine not having to put all of those electronic devices in every room of your home, yet still have full functionality of each device. Bluray, DVD players, VCRs, Ipods, SatelliteTV or cable-boxes are all hidden out of sight, yet accessible on any TV throughout the home. Some choices include; (Bluray, DVD, AM, FM, HD Radio, Sirius XM Radio, Ipod, MP3 Server, VCR, Cable TV, Satellite TV, HD Video server, AppleTV, Xbox360, Surveillance Cameras, etc).
Control is easy and similar as if that device was actually located in the room. Using a touchpanel, remote control, and television on-screen display, allow you to choose what device you'd like to control. Upgrading a device in the system is easy... Replace the device in the rack with the latest new gadget and reprogram for that new device.
You can also control lights, temperature, motorized shades/curtains, security systems, IP cameras, pools/spas, electronic/magnetic locks, irrigation systems and more. The system also utilize your homes' technology to conserve energy and go green. Systems can automate lighting control, turning off lights when you're not home. Motorized window shades can open & close to conserve heating/cooling costs. Climate controls advanced programming also reduce your electric/gas bills. Childrens TV's & video games can be automatically turned off at their bedtime. The control system goes into low power mode until activated again.

 Finally, some hope for the replacement to the Sony DVPNS777ES 400 disc dvd changer that was discontinued late last year. There is talk about the imminent release of the Sony ES 400 disc bluray changer. We've all hoped for this day, but cringe at the possible price (TBD)? But if it has the control features that the DVPNS777ES had plus the additional improvements that the HESV1000 (also discontinued) had, we might have a winner. Ethernet streaming along with a hard drive would be some of those features...

Escient also offers a multiple hard drive video server. Each hard drive can store up the 1 terabyte (1000 gigabytes)of data. 4 hard drives storing in a raid-5 configuration are included in this 1 Rack-Unit(RU) server. Additional servers for even more storage.
A second unit called a VC-1 unit is used to access the server. Multiple VC-1's can be installed to access the server independently. Each television in your home can access any VC-1.
