Control4 product communicate via Zigbee mesh networking. Each Zigbee device sends/receives from another, creating a spider-web of communication links. Multiple Zigbee devices are necessary to relay communications from one end of the home, to another.

This Zigbee protocol (802.15.4) is a seperate wireless network from your 2.4ghz Wi-Fi Internet network.

Thermostat(s) can be set (manually or automatically) to adjust to appropriate levels throughout the home.

Add other Control4 products and program to add more control. Lighting Dimmers and Switches can be added throughout the home to communicate wirelessly allowing for individual on/off function. Audio/Video devices turn off. Exterior water sprinklers turn off. Security system is enabled.
